1. “Samarkand suv ta’minoti” JSC has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Reconstruction of Drinking Water Supply and Sewerage System in Kattakurgan Town of Samarkand Region Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Package 3: Reconstruction of Water Pumping Stations “Kirpichiki”, “New Center” and “Roddom”.
2. “Samarkand suv ta’minoti” JSC now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for reconstruction of three pumping station areas for becoming operational and efficient by construction of new units and rehabilitating of existing units namely in Kirpichiki Water Distribution Center-WDC (reconstruction of two reservoirs each with a capacity of 250 m³ and pumping station having 4 pumps each with a capacity 60 m3/hour and pumping head of 70m), Roddom WDC (reconstruction of a reservoir with a capacity of 200 m³ and construction of a pumping station having 3 pumps each with a capacity 20 m3/hour and pumping head of 30m) and New Center WDC ((reconstruction of two reservoirs with a capacity of 1000 m³ and 650 m3 and construction of a pumping station having 4 pumps each with a capacity 55 m3/hour and pumping head of 40m). The works in each water distribution center covers construction of Chlorination Building, Check Point Building, Insite piping and sanitary facilities, fences and entrance gates. All civil, electrical, automation and mechanical works for sound operation of facilities are included in the Contract.

3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” [published May 2004, revised 2019) (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Mr. Shavkat Norkobilov Head of the branch of JSC Uzsuvtaminot PMU of the WB and inspect the bidding document during office hours 09:00 to 17:00 at the address given below item 9.
5. Interested Bidders may receive an electronic version of the complete bidding documents in English upon submission of a written application to the address below item 10. Upon request, the document can be sent by email.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below item 9 on or before on or before 16:00 (Tashkent time) October 31, 2024. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below 9, on or before 16:00 (Tashkent time) October 31, 2024.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of $ 14,000 (fourteen thousand US Dollars).
8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
