1. The Government of Uzbekistan has received a 239 million USD financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Water Services and Institutional Support Project (WASIS), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of potable water meters for “Samarkand Suv Ta’minoti” JSC, “Syrdarya Suv Ta’minoti” JSC and “Qoraqalpoq Suv Ta’minoti” JSC.
2. JSC "Uzsuvtaminot" now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of the following devices for the needs of JSC "Uzsuvtaminot":

All equipment must be new, previously unused, not earlier than 2024 of manufacture.
3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” (August 2018) (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from JSC “Uzsuvtaminot” Branch World Bank’s PMU Manager - Mr. Shavkat Norkobilov ([email protected]) and inspect the bidding document during office hours 09:00 to 17:00 hours at the address given below.
5. Interested Bidders may obtain an electronic version of the complete set of bidding documents in English by submitting a written application to the address below and making a non-refundable payment in the amount of US$ 200 or the equivalent in Uzbek soums, according to the exchange rate of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the date of payment. 6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 16:00 Tashkent time, April 16, 2025. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 16:00 Tashkent time, April 16, 2025.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration in the form prescribed by the Bidding Document.
8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
