1. The Republic of Uzbekistan has received financing from the World Bank (Bank) toward the cost of the "Improvement of sewerage systems in 5 district centers of Syrdarya province" project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contracts named above.

2. The WB Project Management Unit (PMU) of “Uzsuvtaminot” JSC on behalf of “Sirdarya Suv Ta’minoti” JSC (“the Purchaser”) invites Quotations from eligible Bidders for the supply of above title equipment (“the Goods”).

3. The Purchaser intends to apply funds from the World Bank (WB) for eligible payments under the Contract resulting from this Request for Quotation.
