The African Trade & Investment Development Insurance (ATIDI), legally known as the African Trade Insurance Agency, is the leading provider of investment and trade credit insurance on the continent. Established in 2001 by African States, ATIDI is a pan-African multilateral insurer owned by African governments with a mandate to turn African risk into opportunity. Its primary objective is to enhance foreign direct investments into Member States while facilitating increased intra-African trade.
Since inception, ATIDI has supported over USD 88billion worth of investments and trade across Africa. The organization predominantly provides Political Risk, Credit Insurance and Surety Insurance, and has consistently maintained strong international credit ratings — currently ‘A/Stable’ by Standard & Poor’s and A2/Stable by Moody’s. In July 2023, ATIDI unveiled a refreshed brand identity to reflect its growing stature as the multilateral trade and investment insurer on the continent.
As ATIDI continues to expand its presence and impact, there is a growing need to strengthen its corporate communications, enhance visibility and position the organization with its stakeholders. To achieve this, ATIDI seeks to engage a professional Public Relations (PR) firm that will provide support in strategic advisory, content production, media and stakeholder engagement to reinforce ATIDI’s positioning, amplify its messaging and advance its brand visibility across key markets and audiences.
ATIDI therefore, invites well established and qualified firms to submit proposals for provision of public relations services for a period of one (1) year renewable based on satisfactory performance. The terms of reference included in Appendix A provides the details of the assignment and expected deliverables.

Please note that (i) the costs of preparing the proposal and of negotiating the contract are not reimbursable as a direct cost of the assignment; and (ii) ATIDI is not bound to accept your proposal.
The e-copy of your proposal should be submitted to [email protected] by Friday 14th November 2025 at 14:30 hours East African Time (extended from Friday 7th November 2025).
Interested and well-established firms are required to submit two separate files (technical and financial bids) which should be attached to the email as below.
The Technical file should contain the technical proposal and be named as follows:

The proposal should be valid for not less than 90 days from date of submission.
