INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANCY SERVICES TO CONDUCT A GENDER AND YOUTH MAINSTREAMING AUDIT 2025

1. The African Union (AU) has received financing from the African Development Bank toward the cost of financing Institutional Capacity Building for the African Union Commission (AUC) project and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant to payments under the contract for Consulting Services to conduct a gender and youth mainstreaming audit 2025.

2. The services to be provided under the Assignment include:- production of an initial baseline of performance on gender and youth mainstreaming in the respective departments to be used as a benchmark to measure progress on gender equality across time
and departments (setting benchmarks) and assist in the identification of mechanisms that have contributed to mainstreaming gender and youth within the respective departments and document good practices for sharing within and outside the department and provide recommendations to improve the performance of the respective departments in ensuring
gender and youth mainstreaming (reflective recommendations).

3. The African Union Commission (AUC) now invites eligible individual consultants to indicate interest in providing these services by submitting their Curriculum Vitae (CV), demonstrating experience in performing similar assignments with references, and showing responsiveness to the qualification requirements outlined in this REOI. 4. Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the Procurement Policy Framework for Bank Group Funded Operations “Rules and
Procedures for the use of Consultants October 2015 which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
