African Risk Capacity Limited (ARC Ltd.) invites qualified and experienced consultants to submit proposals for the design and development of a modular training curriculum on parametric climate and disaster risk insurance for African markets.

Designing a Curriculum on Parametric Climate and Disaster Risk Insurance
Location: Remote
Duration: 45 working days over a period of 3 months
Scope of Services
The selected consultant shall be expected to undertake, among others, the following tasks:
• Conduct a needs assessment and stakeholder consultations
• Develop structured course content covering:
o Core concepts of parametric insurance
o Operational mechanisms
o Regulatory frameworks
o Risk modelling
o Sector applications
• Recommend delivery formats for training implementation
• Define trainer qualifications and certification requirements
• Deliver a complete curriculum package including:
o Syllabus
o Training materials
o Practical exercises
o Reference resources
Eligibility
Interested consultants should demonstrate:
• Proven experience in curriculum development
• Expertise in insurance, climate risk, disaster risk financing, or related fields
• Experience working in African markets or comparable contexts
• Strong technical and training content development capacity
