1. The FDRE, Palace Administration has received funds from the Agence Française de Développement (the French Development Agency) towards the cost of Restoration and Public Opening of Addis Ababa National Palace. It is intended that part of the proceeds of these funds will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Procurement of Museography/Mediation Tools.
2. The FDRE, Palace Administration now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of Items Listed in Table below (“the Goods”). :

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of FDRE Palace Administration (FDREPA), Procurement and Property Administration Directorate At:

4. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 1000 ETB (One Thousand Birr) or equivalent amount in any other easily convertible currency applying the National Bank of Ethiopia Conversion rate at bid issuance date.
5. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the Agence Française de Développement’s Bidding Documents for Procurement of Goods.
6. Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 2:30 PM (EAT) on November 10, 2023 and must be accompanied by a bid security shown in table below or equivalent amount in any other easily convertible currency applying the National Bank of Ethiopia Conversion rate at bid issuance date, for each lot.

Note: The Bid Security must be submitted as per the Instruction to Bidders, Clause 19.
7. Bids will be opened in public and in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 2:45 PM (EAT) on November 10, 2023, at the office of FDRE, Palace Administration (FDREPA), Finance and Procurement Executive, inside National Palace compound bordered by & between Menelik II Avenue and Yohannes Street (Entrance through Gate 5 on Yohannes Street - adjacent to Finfinne Restaurant) - Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
8. Qualification criteria are as follows:
Technical: Company references, Staff experience (CV), Material and equipment required for the assigned task (depending on the Lots),
Financial: financial annual turn-over and others
Legal: renewed Business Licenses and others
Other qualification criteria: samples or prototype as deemed necessary in the bidding document.
The bidder shall have a minimum average annual turnover of:

9. The FDRE Palace Administration (FDREPA), reserves the right to reject any bid and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to Bidders.
