TENDER NOTICE
FOR

Development of Communication and Engagement Strategy and Conceptualisation,
Facilitation and management of multiple event formats under the global programme “Green

Innovation Centres for the Agriculture and Food Sector” (GIC) – India

Background:
The GIZ Green Innovation Centre for Agriculture and Food Sectors in India provides technical
assistance to small-scale farming enterprises and rural entrepreneurs in Himachal Pradesh Apple
Value Chain since 2019 in Shimla and Kullu districts. The GIC project will conclude in July 2025.
Nine years of implementation will come to an end. Therefore, the project is planning to conduct
various partner workshops, events and meetings in the remaining time period of the programme.
The implementation of event formats in the thematic fields of the project and presentation of
achievement of the desired results requires conceptualisation of innovative formats and approaches,
facilitation skills and strategic planning and follow up. The objective of the assignment is hence the
conceptualisation and facilitation of five (five) event formats under the framework of the GIC project.
Additionally, a communication and engagement strategy shall be developed targeting the project
target groups and stakeholders. Based on the engagement strategy, one communication product
should be developed.
Objectives:
i. Engagement and Communicaton strategy for GIC India and development of an communication
product
ii. Event Conceptualization and Event Management of multiple events
Tasks of the assignment:
1. Development of an engagement and communication strategy, incl. one communication product
2. Conceptualising and managing different event formats

It is construed that all the terms and conditions of the tender package are acceptable and
agreed upon by the participating company. No negotiations/changes to the GTCC shall be
acceptable at a later stage.
GIZ reserves the right to cancel/modify this tender and /or reject a bid document including
subsequently a technical and financial proposal, without assigning any reasons.
