Open International Bidding

The Central Electricity Board is inviting bids from eligible and qualified local and international bidders through the Government e-Procurement System for the Design, Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Two 20MW-60MWh Battery Energy Storage System.

Bidding documents may be downloaded from the e-Procurement System https://eproc.publicprocurement.govmu.org. Reference Number on the system is CEB/IFB/2024/8194.

A pre-bid meeting followed by a site visit will take place on Wednesday 28 August 2024 at 10.00 hours at the CEB Office, 3rd Floor, New Building, Royal Road, Curepipe, Republic of Mauritius as mentioned in the bidding document.
Bids shall be submitted online on the e-Procurement System by Wednesday 25 September 2024 up to 13.30 hours (Mauritian Time) at latest.

Bidders who have submitted bids online by the closing date and time shall decrypt and re-encrypt their bids on Wednesday 25 September 2024 as from 14.31 hours (Mauritian Time) till Friday 27 September 2024 up to 14.00 hours (Mauritian Time).

Bidders shall submit an Original Bid Security amounting to MUR 20M at the address mentioned below on or before the deadline for submission of the bids. The Bid Security shall be valid up to 22 April 2025.

Bids will be opened online on the e-Procurement System on Friday 27 September 2024 as from 14.01 hours up to 18.00 hours (Mauritian Time) at the following address:

The Central Electricity Board reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to award of the Contract, without thereby incurring any liability to any Bidder.
