1. The Electricity Generation Company (Malawi) Limited (EGENCO) carries on the
business of generation of power in the Republic of Malawi and has budgeted funds
to be used for Supply and Delivery of Grader and Cataraman Crew Boat.
2. The Chairman, Internal Procurement and Disposal of Assets Committee (IPDC),
now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Supply and Delivery of Grader and
Cataraman Crew Boat as below:

3. The Chairman, Internal Procurement and Disposal of Assets Committee, now
invites interested and eligible firms, to submit their bids for this procurement.
4. Interested firms may obtain further information from EGENCO’s Procurement
Department at the address given in paragraph 8(a) below or by emailing
procurement@egenco.mw between 08:00 to 12:00 hours and 13:00 to 16:00
hours local time except national public holidays.
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by
interested bidders from 14
TH MARCH 2025 at 8(b) below upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of MK10, 000.00 OR its equivalent. The method of payment will be
through the Bank or electronic bank transfer. Please find below EGENCO’s bank

6. Upon payment, please present your proof of payment to the cashier for a receipt.
The electronic copy of the bidding documents will be sent to bidders upon
presenting proof of payment.
7. Bids must be delivered to the address at paragraph 8(c) below on or before 2
nd
May 2025 at 14.00 hours CAT. Electronic Bids are not acceptable and Late bids
will be rejected. Thereafter bids will be opened in the presence of bidders who
choose to attend the bid opening at the address given in paragraph 8(d) below.
