The goal of the
A2DSRH program is to accelerate the realisation of Agenda 2063 by
coordinating, promoting, and advocating for the implementation of sexual and
reproductive health and universal primary health care (UHC) program and
policy reforms, working closely with AU institutions, Regional Economic
Communities (RECs), and AU Member States. This includes collaborating with
AU institutions (Africa CDC, Africa Medicines Agency, AU Commission, etc)
and political leadership (Heads of States and Government Committee) to
foster a supportive policy and legal environment for Sexual and Reproductive
Health (SRH) and to integrate demographic dividend connotations into SRH
interventions into health systems strengthening interventions across the AU
member states.
